Seven Steps to Building a Lasting Partnership
We want you to know that we’re here for you. We’ll be by your side every step of the way. While some advisors take a “set-it-and-forget-it” approach to client service, we understand the importance of building lasting relationships by regularly checking in with you about your life, your goals and your status toward pursuing those goals. Your life is constantly evolving… so should your financial plan.
The first step in our process is to schedule an exploratory meeting to determine if working together is a good fit for both of us. Because we take a collaborative approach to financial planning, you’ll meet our entire team. The goal with this meeting is to establish a mutual level of comfort with one another and gain an understanding of your long-term goals as well as any challenges you may need help navigating along the way.
Ongoing monitoring and reporting
Our ongoing meetings provide an opportunity to check in with you on your ever-evolving life and any changes that may have taken place. We constantly evaluate and modify your plan to help ensure it continues to meet your changing needs. We provide updates, reports and strategy meetings at a frequency that works for you.
If you agree to work with us, we hold an in-depth discovery meeting to begin developing your financial plan. At this meeting, we analyze your current situation and specific long-term goals. We consider both sides of your balance sheet, including assets and liabilities, in order to formulate a complete picture of your overall financial situation.
Once your plan is in effect, we provide continuous updates on your status toward your goals. We hold a 60-day follow-up meeting to discuss progress, review your statement(s) and online resources, and determine a frequency for ongoing meetings.
During this phase, we present your Wealth Management Plan, solicit your feedback, and decide on the steps necessary to put your plan in place. More than one meeting may be necessary to fully develop and modify your customized strategy, model different scenarios, and arrive at a plan that works best for your unique family and/or business situation. We will continue to adjust your plan as necessary to ensure it aligns with your goals.
During this step of the process, we execute your strategy (this can take several weeks if we are coordinating with other professionals such as your attorney) and sign the necessary documents. If Arcuri Associates is managing your assets, this is the stage where we transfer those assets to your new accounts. Now you’re up and running!
Our executive summary incorporates any additional feedback discussed during the plan presentation meeting(s) and provides us with a roadmap to move forward. Included are the recommendations and a game plan to execute your strategy. The team will continue to adapt to your goals, wants and needs.
